Terms of Service

1. The service

Recording Studio ("the Service") is a browser-based application for recording screen and camera video, available at this website. The Service runs entirely in your browser: recordings are created, processed, and saved on your own device.

2. Free and Premium plans

A free plan is available without an account. The Premium plan is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features (including 4K recording, green screen keying, AI backgrounds, MOV export, unlimited recording length, and watermark removal). Feature lists and pricing are shown on the website and may change over time; changes will not reduce what an active subscription has already paid for during its current billing period.

3. Purchases, billing, and refunds

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refunds under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime through the customer portal linked in your receipt; cancellation stops future renewals and Premium remains active until the end of the paid period. Refund requests are handled through the contact details on your receipt.

4. License keys

Premium is activated with a license key delivered by email after checkout. Keys are for your own use, on your own devices, and may not be resold or published. Keys are validated against the subscription status and stop working when a subscription ends.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the content you record. Do not use the Service to record or distribute content you have no right to capture, or for any unlawful purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the Service or misuse the license system.

6. Your content

We claim no rights over your recordings. Because processing happens on your device, your recordings are never transmitted to us and we could not access them if we wanted to.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Browser capabilities vary; we support current versions of Chrome and Edge on desktop. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
