Privacy Policy

The short version

Your recordings never leave your device. Recording Studio runs entirely in your browser. We operate no recording servers, require no account, and run no analytics or tracking scripts on the app.

What we do not collect

• Your recordings, camera feed, microphone audio, or screen content. All processing (compositing, keying, AI background segmentation, export) happens on your device.
• Account data. There are no accounts.
• Behavioral analytics, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking.

What is processed, and by whom

• Website hosting (Cloudflare). This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as IP address and request logs) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Purchases (Lemon Squeezy). If you buy Premium, checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. They collect the details needed to process the order (name, email, payment details, billing country) under their own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
• License validation. When you activate Premium, the app checks your license key against Lemon Squeezy's licensing service to confirm the subscription is active. The key is stored locally in your browser.

Camera and microphone permissions

The app requests camera, microphone, and screen capture permissions from your browser solely to create your recording. The streams are consumed locally and are never transmitted.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no user data to retain or delete. Purchase records live with Lemon Squeezy; you can exercise data rights (access, deletion) through them via your receipt or their privacy contact.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If our practices change (for example, if we ever add optional analytics), this policy and its effective date will be updated first.
